We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with strong communication, organization and technical skills. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. The ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, initiating and maintaining client relationships and using proven methods to develop a strong business strategy while retaining marketing partners.
This role will be hold sales responsibility applicable to both the end user customer and our agent distribution base. Our customers possess a wide variety of applications, resources, and capabilities. This position will provide customers support and design services in implementing our technology. The Technical Sales Engineer will work with customers and/or agents to understand their facilities, capture their requirements, and prepare project proposals and contracts. This position will work in concert with our sales team to develop marketing materials, build relationships with customers and agents, and act as a company representative at industry events and meetings.
- 2-5 Years’ Experience in Outside/Technical/ or Industrial Sales
- Ability to travel nationally and Internationally appx 20%
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but will consider commensurate experience
- Agriculture or Industrial manufacturing sales experience
- Strong technical aptitude- ability to put custom solutions together for end users
- Team player willing to wear many hats
